Classes + Events

BWYC offers virtual and in-person yoga + wellness events designed to support you on your wellbeing journey.

Our classes are always focused on feel-good movement. Lots of options for adjustments, props, and modifications are offered throughout. All-levels of practice are welcome and encouraged to join us.

We offer workshops on a variety of wellness topics that are always centered on community and connection. Some of our classes and events are open for all to attend. Some are spaces specifically open to Black women, Black people, or BIPOC folks.

Virtual Classes + Events

This 60-min gentle vinyasa flow led by Mel Douglas, founder of BWYC, is all about having fun and slowing this down. Move through a gently-paced vinyasa practice with lots of options for props and modifications offered throughout while you enjoy a curated playlist of R&B faves.

Leave feeling grounded in your body and mind. Great for beginners!

Virtual classes are $9 for a single drop-in. You can also purchase a 5 or 10 class pack for a discounted rate.

Join us for this workshop where we'll focus on cultivating energy of abundance and expansion for ourselves in the Fall season ahead.

This 90-min workshop will include a 45-min slow, restorative yoga flow followed by a 15-min healing sound bath with Mel. Enjoy movement designed to help you release tension and feel grounded. Soak in a soundscape of crystal & bronze singing bowls, ocean drums, and chimes to shift your vibration. The yoga flow will be beginner-friendly and lots of options for modifications will be offered.

We'll begin and end with some reflective prompts intended to help you find gratitude for the season that has passed as well as focus your energy for the Autumn season ahead.
